New Era, New Focus

This is a special year for the ladies of 40fyd+, we turn 55! What's so retrospective about this time for us, is how far we've come since our 40's and all the significant life advancements we've made since that time. Early in our 40's we discussed the idea of creating a platform for 40 plus women because so many of our friends and acquaintances were discouraged about approaching this milestone. However, we knew so many women who were entering their 40 era as their best selves, excelling at their careers, nurturing growing families, embarking on creative endeavors and advocating for their wellness. The key distinction was these women navigating their 40's with enthusiasm, were not swayed by the societal rhetoric associated with women, aging and self-worth.

It was that spirit of fearlessness that lead us to envision this platform, creating a community of women who motivate promote and uplift each other. In this special space we have enjoyed creating forums surrounding wellness, finance, entrepreneurship, and relationships, while featuring the incredible life stories of women ranging from well known celebrities to every day women who have reignited their passions.

This new era for us as 50plus women, will inform how we move forward and how we advance the vision of 40fyd+, with the advantages of new wisdom, perspectives and opportunities. More over, we look forward to mentoring our younger sisters, helping to inform their paths and fostering important inter-generational conversations.

So as we move into a new phase of life that will certainly impact our creativity within this platform, we welcome all our 50plus sisters to join us! Here's to maturing, growing and becoming the dopest versions of ourselves!
